The Achilles Heel From Process Improvement

From a fairly early stage during my career I have been relating to process improvement fun-based activities. While at Chevron was developed 1990`s, I served to provide a Quality Training Counselor teaching organizations, among other things, process improvement tools. The goal of the training also, the efforts overall were to improve quality, minimize waste and use existing work systems and make them improved.

These ideas definitely didn`t start at Chevron.

Gurus, notably W. Edwards Deming, include long used precise analysis and system improvement tools to remodel Japanese companies subsequently the entire economy. It was actually from this transformational accomplishment that American firms began looking to activity improvement in the 80s and beyond.
